The heart chakra is the seat of balance for preservation, creation and destruction. Opening your heart can release the flow that has been building up and will lighten the load and pressure we carry around with us.
This piece was made with my rusting process but I used a tannin to get the dramatic blacks. Inspired by an ancient technique, Kalamkari, used in India dating back to 2600 BC.
