Taking Walks in 2018

I realize that I have not taken the time to go through my many adventures from the past few years.  It has been a wonderful time for me to explore the landscape of Oregon and Washington and I have seen so many little plants, fungi, and lichens.  Time to take a peek inside what waits for us in the deep forest and roadside trails……..

No adventure would be complete without the companionship of my little star, Bella.

Here is some flora found at Little Crater Lake.  The lake’s water is fed from the springs of Mt Hood and stays at a constant 34 degrees F.

On the way out we stopped to admire a small creek and meadow
