Autumn Bliss

It has been awhile since I last posted.  I have been working on my new collection and new textile designs lately, plus my garage at home needed a new roof and being the do it yourself type my husband and I plus family, took on that project.  Just in time for the Portland rain, the roof is tight.  The rain has brought all the leaves to the ground and the magic of fall is in the air.  This is when I have to bring the composted bundles indoors and let electric heat create the chemistry of vibrant colors.

This is also a good time to pick up leaves from the ground and start to bundle fabrics for the base of what will be over dyed scarfs. And walnuts littered all over the neighborhood which make good color get scooped up too.

I  wanted to post some images of my studio excitement this past few months.  This is what I love to do and I’m blessed to have a space to work in and ability to create.

Coming up soon I will have a slew of pictures from photoshoots this summer and spring that I have been holding back and waiting for publishing and editing.  Such a long process and trying on my patience.
